Oklahoma Pork is now accepting applications for the 2024 Excellence Award. The Excellence Award recognizes individuals in all areas of pork production for an exceptional commitment to doing their best every day. Nominees for the Excellence Award can come from any sector of pork production. The nominee has made their role in the pork industry more than just a job – they consider being part of the pork industry a rewarding profession.

Nominees do NOT have to currently be Oklahoma Pork Council members. We will present this award to 1-4 pork producers each year. Nominations are due on Friday, March 15, 2024.

Selection Criteria:

Demonstrate exceptional commitment or innovation within at least one of the Oklahoma Pork Council’s four strategic intentions – Foreign Animal Disease Preparedness, Image Enhancement, Workforce At All Levels, Freedom to Operate.
PQA Plus and/or TQA certified, as well as PQA Plus site assessment, as applicable.
