Oklahomans have been raising pigs for generations. But this year, 2026, marks a special milestone - the 35th “birthday” of the Oklahoma Pork Council and our modern pork industry.

To celebrate, we’re honoring Oklahoma pork producers all year long. Throughout 2025, our board and staff have been dreaming up fun ways to reflect on our history and look ahead to the future. Now, as we step into 2026, we want your help sharing the lessons, stories, and friendships that have shaped Oklahoma Pork over the past three-and-a-half decades. Whether your favorite memory is from showing a single pig years ago or caring for thousands of pigs today, we’d love to hear your story.

As part of our 35th anniversary celebration, we’ll be highlighting memorable reflections at several of our signature events and unveiling new ways to honor the dedication and passion that have carried Oklahoma’s pork industry from 1991 to today.
