2025 “Youth Pork Advocates” Day

Calling all next generation leaders within Oklahoma’s agriculture industry! Are you a high school student with a passion for pork or an interest in advocating for agriculture?

For the first time ever, the Oklahoma Pork Council is hosting an exclusive one-day leadership event to empower young agriculturists to promote and defend our industry.

Be part of the inaugural class of “Youth Pork Advocates” to learn more about Oklahoma’s swine industry and how to effectively share your own story to protect agriculture’s future.

Apply by completing the form below by 11:59 p.m. on Friday, July 25, if you are interested in being chosen for Oklahoma Pork’s first-ever “Youth Pork Advocates Day.”

Accepted students will be notified by August 1 before the actual “Youth Pork Advocates Day” occurs on August 8 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Oklahoma City. Lunch will be provided during an engaging day of growing your pork knowledge and gaining confidence in promoting agriculture within your own network. Accepted students will be provided additional details on programming and hotel booking information if they are interested in staying the night before the event.
